That doesn't look right

Some of the stuff Coop does these days make me laugh so hard. We got out the jumper for Ryker and Coop decided he wanted in...

I guess it just looked too fun to pass up!

Ryan's Home

My nephew Ryan returned home from his mission last Tuesday. We all went to the aiport to see him arrive. He got in at ten at night so it was a late night for all these kids but they had a blast. I didn't get any pics of Ryan...but we snapped this one of the kids playing on the stairs. They are all getting so big!! Coop even decided he didn't need me to ride the escalator! He ran up the stairs with Ella, Taya and Addy and by the time I realized he was up there I couldn't make it to the top in time before he just hopped right on the escalator. They were totally on a mission. Luckily Kelly was up with Ella and got on right after him because I don't think he would've known how to get off! Four two-year-olds on the escalator alone..YIKES!

Memorial Weekend

Memorial weekend was spent with the Rich family. We usually go somewhere and stay far away but this year was different. We decided to stay close to home. Lori lives in Draper so the activities were centered around her house. We stayed Friday night at a hotel in Sandy..(far from home...haha) and played with family. Our weekend consisted of a treasure hunt, swimming, tennis, talking and good food. Coop had a great time with his 'friends' and is constantly asking to go to Lori's house. We had a great time!

3 Months

Ryker turned 3 months on the 23rd of May. He is such a good baby and we love having him as part of our family. His favorite things these days are his hands, his baths, getting dressed, interaction with anyone and his binkies. He is a little chunk and pretty strong. He will stand up for quite a while if we hold his hands. He brings such joy to us!!

Ryker's Blessing

We had a wonderful Sunday this past week. We finally blessed Ryker. He turns three months this Saturday so it was about time. He looked so adorable and he was such an angel the whole day. The lunch at the park was awesome and there was minimal wind which is odd for Saratoga. We had so much support from family and friends. Thanks everyone!

Oops.....

Well, for those of you that attended Ryker's blessing or are in my ward you saw that Brad had a new look. Let's just say it works...but it's not his best look (sorry honey)...hehe. Well, let me tell you the reason why Brad has a new look.
Saturday night I was frantically pulling together the last of the food for the blessing. I have told Brad that he needs to get his hair cut somewhere, I'm just not that great at it, and I'm getting worse. The last time I cut it I seriously clipped off his sideburns. He had quite the 80s look for a while. Anyway, he still asked me to cut his hair at like 10 at night when I had a ton of stuff to do still. Well, I told him I would and he sat down. I started clipping with a 1 inch guard because I didn't want that much off. Well, he decided they weren't working that great and so he said they needed oil. He kept bugging me about it until finally I gave him the clippers and the oil. I ran in the other room, came back out and he handed me the clippers. I grabbed it and started where I left off when Brad all of a sudden started yelling. Turns out he didn't put the guard back on and I didn't notice. Well, this was the result:

I had tried clipping it a little shorter to blend but that didn't work. The cut was right in the middle!! I ended up using 1/8 inch guard...and he ended up deciding he liked it....I hope he changes his mind! I think since he can still grow hair, he should have hair :).

The finished product:

And that is why my husband looked like he was also undergoing chemo while he hobbled up on crutches to bless Ryker. I can laugh about it now.

The Zoo!

Last Friday I met with some of my best girls, Georgana, Britany, Tara and Lesli, and we headed to the zoo. We had a great time together and the kids had so much fun. This is the first time that Coop has really loved the zoo. He knew the animals and was excited to see them. Ryker was such a champ and stayed in his stroller WITHOUT crying the whole time. I just love that little guy!!

Side Note: So, Ryker has been sleeping about 10-11 hours straight every night for the past week...HEAVEN. Love him!!

It was so fun to interact with my friends kids. I can't believe that they are getting so big. I love that I have stayed so close to my friends from high school. We always have a great time together. Love you girls!
