Disney Day 2

Today was one of our sea days, but it started off really exciting. We had our character breakfast that morning. They assign you a breakfast time where you go eat a nice breakfast and all the characters come around and take pictures. The waiters and waitresses are amazing and made us all some pretty sweet napkin hats. The boys loved being able to meet so many characters at one time. After that, we just hung around the ship. Swimming, watching shows and eating of course! The boys loved running and jumping to grab the poles. They finished the night off with a dip in the hot tub.

Disney Cruise Day 1

We actually went on a Disney cruise!! Looking through the pictures makes me want to go back so bad! Brad got some bonus money from work for a trip and we decided to take Cooper and Ryker on a Disney cruise. I kept checking prices, sometimes even in the middle of the night and we finally found a deal that worked!! So glad we did because it was one of the most fun trips I think we will ever take. We flew into Dallas the day before our cruise to drop Sawyer off at my sister's house. She was kind enough to watch him while we went. The next day we took off on our five hour drive to Galveston which was where our cruise was departing from. The drive went by pretty quick and then we were there! The first day we got on the ship, stopped at the buffet and the boys also went swimming. After swimming, Ryker made sure to look out the window to see if there were any dolphins. :) That night we met the nice family we were dining with and the kids were thrilled with their towel animal before bed. We couldn't wait to see what the rest of the week was going to bring.

Rich Family Easter Party

This year we had the Rich family Easter party after Easter so we could get more people there. Grandma puts a lot of money in her Easter eggs and I'm not sure who gets more excited, the kids or the adults. The kids egg hunt was pretty exciting, especially when Hudson found a huge snake and was not the least bit afraid to pick it up. Then it was time for the adults. This year I figured I needed to turn my luck around from previous years because I had never done that great. During the adult hunt I may have bribed my nephew Braxton to show me where a good egg was and I would give him five bucks. Well, he decided that sounded like a good idea and since he helped hide the eggs he led me to twenty dollars. It's a good thing he showed me where the egg was because I don't think there is any way anyone would've been able to find it without being shown. It was a little too well hid under some dirt and leaves. I love these traditions that we have together with family! Oh, and I have no idea what was up with my eye. It's been too long to remember.

Bear Lake

Conference weekend we decided to head up with some friends to Bear Lake. The weather wasn't really very warm, but the kids loved playing with all their friends and we loved hanging out and talking with all the adults. Coop also got some good tennis practice in with Brad. We used to do this all the time as couples and now it's funny because combined we have eight kids together and things can get a little crazy! We need to get together with them more often.

Tyler's Home

Tyler got home the first of April from his mission in Texas. The boys were pretty excited to see him, but Ryker was pretty shy when it came time to give him his candy lei. I love that my boys have such great examples to look up to when it's their turn to make the choice to serve a mission one day.

Easter

Easter morning the boys were so excited to wake up and find string tied to their feet. They then had to follow the string through the house and find their baskets. This a tradition Brad's family used to do. Sawyer was not too happy to be woken up, and the boys found their baskets pretty quick and we headed to our nine o'clock church. After church was over we had to get the family picture in our Easter clothes. Once again, Sawyer was not too happy to have his picture taken, but we finally got one where most of us are looking and smiling even if Sawyer might not be. He was happy once he was able to roam around on his own. We ate our Easter dinner and then the kids went and found the eggs that were hidden outside. We let them out the back door in order of age. You can see Coop burst through the door because he wanted to make sure that he was able to find the most eggs. We hid so many eggs that the kids were able to find more then enough. We had candy for days!
