We signed Coop up to play soccer this past spring and it was a learning experience. Brad decided to coach and we both had no idea to expect. Well, we soon realized that bribing Coop with goals was not realistic. We finally told him we'd buy him some Legos if he didn't end up crying or sitting picking grass the whole game. (Yes, we resorted to bribing). It worked for the most part. It drove Brad crazy to be the coach and have the kid that didn't want to play. He did end up making one goal, even if it was for the other team. :) Call us crazy, but we did sign him up again in the fall. He was actually asking to play and this time he will have his friend Carson on the team. Here's hoping for a better season for both Brad and Cooper!!
