In September the whole Rich family went up to Logan so that we could be in the Apple Days parade. They were honoring Bill and Carol as Outstanding Citizens at the festival. We all piled on the back of a trailer with Carol on the 4-wheeler. The kids loved throwing the candy out to everyone. Of course we all ran out at the end and were scrounging because we felt bad for everyone at the end of the parade. It's pretty awkward when you have people staring at you and nothing to throw.
After the parade Sawyer got to ride in the Escalade with the Watterson kids. He thought it was pretty neat. Almost as neat as the popcicles they passed out at the end of the parade.
We almost missed Bill and Carol being honored at the festival. Luckily we caught the end of it. They didn't really warn us when it was happening. We sure missed Bill today, but it was so nice to be reminded how many people loved him. While we were waiting in line for dinner I had a lady ask Amy if I was her daughter. It was pretty funny. I don't think Amy liked that very much. We ate and were listening to a band playing when it started to rain a bit. That's when we decided it was time to take off.
Brad and I live in Farmington along with our two boys Cooper- four and Ryker-one. Brad sells payroll services for Qqest and I am a stay-at-home mom. Brad and I argue all the time about who's the busiest and I would have to say myself!!
