The Hunt is On!

We were actually home the Saturday before Easter so we got to participate in the Easter Egg hunts. We woke up early and started with our neighborhood hunt. Everyone brought things for a breakfast and it was nice to visit with all our neighbors. Luckily we finished in time for the Farmington City hunt. When we got there, we almost turned around because the lines were SO long. It's good we decided to stick it out because they had TONS of eggs and even though there were tons of kids, mime were able to get plenty of eggs. Even little Sawyer got in on the action. Afterwards, we had to hit the park so the kids could play.

Dying Eggs

A few days before Easter we had the Bowen family over to dye some Easter Eggs. We love getting together with these guys. Our older boys are pretty much the same ages and get along so well. They thought it was pretty neat that we had them take off their shirts so they didn't get dirty. The muscles were flexed and compared, but for some reason we couldn't get both the Brad's to join in. Maybe next time!

Happy St. Patty's Day

My kids love St. Patricks Day. They ask when it is going to be all year. I think it's funny because it seems like such a insignificant holiday, but they love seeing what kind of mischief the sneaky leprechauns get into. This year they made a mess in the kitchen, but they also left some treasure in our tub.

Vegas

Brad and I left the kids and took off to Vegas the middle of March to go watch the Aggie basketball team in the WAC tournament. Unfortunately they lost the first game, but Brad and I still made a fun trip out of it. We went to the Cirque du Soleil show Zarkana one night which was really amazing. We also headed out to Hoover Dam since we hadn't been before. It was really interesting to go see the dam and take the tours. It's crazy how big it is! It's funny, I like Vegas but I am definitely ready to come home at the end of the weekend!

Grandma's 80th

The first of March, Ryker and I headed down to Vernal with my parents to help celebrate my grandma Meriel's 80th birthday. We celebrated with a family dinner at the local restaurant, 7-11. It was fun catching up with cousins and seeing grandma. Ryker loved being the only child that came with. It's funny how easy kids are when they are by themselves!

Ryker's 4th Birthday

It's Ryker's birthday! He still seemed half asleep when he woke up, but right when he opened his presents he was good. We had to hit the presents first, and then we had the traditional waffles, raspberries and whipped cream breakfast. All Ryker talks about when speaking about his birthday's is how excited he is to go to Chuck E Cheese, so that's where we headed that night. My parents met us and the kids loved playing all the games and eating the pizza there. I could definitely not ever go back but this kid loves it! Ryker wanted a superman cake so that's what he got. He's so into Batman and got a lot of fun Batman toys. It was so funny watching him walk around in his mask. Ryker is such a joy to have as a child. He is pretty much always happy and gets excited about the smallest things. He is always quick with a hug and still loves to cuddle with his mom. We sure love our Ryker!

Valentine's Day

This year the boys were so excited to wake up and find their Valentine's Day presents. I helped in Cooper's kindergarten class with the Valentine's Day party. It was so fun watching him interact with the other kids. I sure love all my boys!

Southern Utah

The end of January Brad had to go down to Brian Head ski resort for work so we decided to take the whole family. We stayed overnight one night there and went skiing. We had such a great time!! We put Sawyer in their child care for about two hours and the boys did so good skiing! They were done by the end of the two hours though. The next day we went down to St. George and stayed with the Ashcrofts for the weekend. It was so nice being down away from the cold. The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins.

Outside

These little boys love spending time outside! Especially when Cooper pulls them behind the four-wheeler! Poor Sawyer's boots don't stay on the best, but at least he has a pretty sweet snowsuit!
