25 Cent Lemonade

So my neighbor kids have come around a couple times asking if I wanted to buy a cup of lemonade. Well, I haven't done it yet, and I always feel bad telling them no. I got home today and one of the girls in the neighborhood was knocking on my door. She came up and asked me if I wanted lemonade for 25 cents. I told her I would but asked her to bring it to me because I had my hands full. She came back with a cup of lemonade and I couldn't find a quarter so I just gave her a dollar. She tells me, "We ran out of paper cups so I only have this cup." She patiently waits for her cup until I am done drinking and then runs on to the hext neighbor....hmmmmmm....I totally think I got more then I bargained for in that cup of lemonade! Hopefully I was the first!

Update: They just came back about an hour later to sell me a muffin from their house....uh oh.

Our Easter Weekend

We had a great weekend despite the fact that we missed out on seeing our family! On Saturday we headed to the Saratoga Springs Easter egg hunt. There was so many people there! I didn't think that Coop would have any idea what he was doing, but he would go grab the eggs and put them in the basket Brad was holding. It was pretty funny.

We had to stay home because I had to play for the choir to sing in church on Sunday. After church we tryed to get some pics, but it didn't work out too well. As you can see below...

We had our neighbors, Dustin and Melissa come over for Easter lunch. We had such a fun time with them. We are lucky to have such great neighbors! They have a boy that's just a little bit older then Coop and they like to play. We dyed Easter eggs together and for some reason Coop though he wanted to eat a hard-boiled egg with the shell on...who knows.

My cute boys on Easter.

My Second Little Boy...

I bet none of you knew that Brad slept with stuffed animals! This is what I came in to see a couple of days ago. Brad was crashed on the couch and he had a bunch of friends with him. He loves his stuffed animals!

I guess I will give Brad some credit. He didn't start out going to sleep with all the stuffed animals. He had a little helper that gave them all to him. Coop would just come up and hand them to him one by one. Once Coop got tired of it, apparently Brad did too and fell asleep. Even if he didn't grab them himself, I really think Brad was enjoying them. The soft dog especially!

Dad does the cutting...

Okay, just a word of advice...be careful when dad's are doing the hair cutting!! Whenever Brad gets his hands on the clippers he goes overboard. Basically now I have a bald little dude. He is still cute though. He wasn't too sure about what was going on even though we have done this before. Isn't it weird how just even cutting his hair makes him look so much older??

Gardner's Village

Yesterday I met up with Tiffany and Addy at Gardner's Village. We had such a great time! The kids were pretty good and the highlight of their trip was seeing the ducks that were there. I had brought some goldfish crackers along and they would come right up to us to eat them. Coop was loving it and even tried imitating the ducks. He got a little too close holding a goldfish cracker and a duck tried to eat his finger. Thanks for the fun afternoon Tiff and Addy! Sorry the pics are so bad. They were taken with my phone.

We are so lucky to have the Simmons as our friends. We've been talking about going on a trip for a while now and this past week Tiffany and I convinced our husbands to take us to Kauai in May!! We are so excited. Can't wait guys!

Daredevil Part 2 and Last Week

I know I posted how Coop is a little daredevil...well here we go again. Coop has a chair in his room that he loves to stand on. He'll just climb right up and start rocking back and forth. He hasn't fallen yet...I'm just waiting to hear the crash one day.

We also headed to Alpine last week for my grandma's 75th birthday. Happy Birthday grandma!

These are the classic faces of Coop and Brad in pictures!

We also had a visit from the Ashcrofts. Coop loved being around his cousins. He wanted to be everywhere and anywhere they were. Conner and Stockton decided to head outside and dig holes with their feet in the snow. Well, Coop was right there with them.

Uh-oh. He needed help getting out of this situation.

Last but not least...this is what I found last night before I went to bed. I don't think he could be any more comfortable then this.
