11 Months!

Ryker is now 11 months. I can't believe I have to start thinking about this little guys one-year birthday next month. Ryker is chubby as ever and really would like to eat all the time. For some reason the last couple of months he has turned into a terror! A terror on the ears! He is still my cute cuddly little boy but don't let the smile fool you. Unless he is picked up by either Brad or I or eating he is whining. AAAGGGHHHH. He's lucky we love him so much! I keep praying this is a phase and will stop as soon as he's walking. Cooper is always saying how Ryker is on the naughty list..haha.

Some of the things Ryker is loving now are holding spoons when eating, table food, bathtime with Cooper, attention, more attention, all my attention, climbing up and down the stairs (with supervision) :), toys, getting into Coops toys, toothbrushes, jumping on the couch and taking off his socks. He also got his third tooth yesterday which may be what is contributing to his attitude. All in all, he is our adorable little guy that we couldn't imagine life without!

Bear Lake

Thursday night we headed up to the Rich cabin in Bear Lake. Brad had been checking the weather reports to make sure they had plenty of snow. We were joined by the Allreds, Woods and Cooks. It was so great to hang out with good friends. We went from zero kids a few years ago to six now. It makes it different with kids, not quite as relaxing, but still fun! We got plenty of sledding and snow mobiling outside along with plenty of Wii playing inside. Saturday it kept snowing and snowing. I had to be back for church Sunday so we took off. Logan Canyon was so bad! White-out conditions and it took us an extra half hour to get through. We were grateful we made it home safely!! Thanks for such a great time guys!

Us Lately...

I haven't posted for awhile because it seems like Januarys are always so slow and we don't really do much. I got looking at my pictures and realized we'd done a few random things. Here goes..

Michelle and mom came down to go to IKEA shopping for her birthday. It was so fun to spend time with them! Happy 26 Birthday Michelle!

Playing with our hammock we bought on our honeymoon. We have no trees so we have yet to really use it...

My family came down again to stay a couple weekends ago. My brother in law Eddie was there. This is what my house looked like when I got back from a baptism. Let's just say I'm good at buying picture frames but not too good at filling them. There were about four other frames that had beautiful pictures in them like this.

How Coop likes to spend his time

Not a ton going on, but it helps us pass those LONG January days.

New Years Eve

For New Years this year we had some of our closest friends the Simmons and Allreds over to PARTY! We had a great time and ate WAY too much.

The girls surprised the guys with some silly string right at midnight. I can't believe we pulled it off! They didn't know what hit them. It was so fun!!

Martinellis at Midnight with the ladies after our victory over the guys! :)

Rich Christmas Party

We celebrated Christmas with the entire Rich family the following Sunday. It was held at the Plummer household. Like always, it was a great time!

This year for our make-gifts Brad and I decided to make boards to play Cornhole with. What is Cornhole? It's a little like a bean bag toss. They turned out great and were a lot of work so we almost kept them :).

Ben made me this great blanket and Brad got an awesome frame with a cute pic of him and the boys from Greg. Coop got a great golf game and Ryker got an adorable chair and beanie.

The Whole Clan!(Minus Greg, Mike & Emily, and Todd & Karrie)

Some of the cousins watching TV.

Christmas!!

Christmas was so much fun. Since our families live so close together we were able to see both. We stayed at Bill & Carol's house along with Brad's brother Scott and his family. It was so much fun to have such a big group.
We woke up our kids at 8:30 because Scott's kids were up and ready to go. We wanted to be able to have the kids see what Santa brought all together. We lined up the kids on the stairs, (a Rich tradition) and then headed down to the basement. The kids were so excited! They must have been good this year because Santa was very generous!!

Bill's Wrapping Job...haha

That afternoon after the famous Rich breakfast we headed out to Lewiston. We had a huge, delicious lunch ready for us. I definately made room for more food even though we had just ate :). After the yummy meal we opened presents and were spoiled again! After a game of Wits and Wagers we headed back to Logan.

Ryker with some of his loot from Lewiston.

When we got back to Logan, both the kids had fallen asleep. We decided to put Coop in the tub and a few seconds later this is what happened...

Followed by this later on....

We wore the poor kid completely out!! We finished the night off with some more Wits and Wagers and then WE were worn out!

The day went by so fast. Too fast! It makes me sad to think it's over, but excited to see what lies ahead in 2010!

Christmas Eve

Christmas was so fun and busy this year! We headed up to Logan on Monday the 21st and stayed all week at the Richs. Brad was super excited because there was an Aggie game Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. I hit two games while Brad hit all three. They are still so much fun! For Christmas Eve this year we headed up to Lewiston to spend it with my family.

The day started out with a sleigh ride. My dad's cousin has these amazing Clydesdale horses that he hooks up to a sled and off we went! It was so much fun and the horses were beautiful! We had a great time until the cold caught up with us. It was FREEZING that day!

That night we headed to Kent & Robyn's house for dinner and fun. We had a great dinner, watched a Christmas movie and had fun being together. This is a tradition we did the whole time growing up. It is so much fun to look back and see pictures we've taken together. This is the most recent group pic. (Sorry about the closed eyes Robyn!!) Oh, and what is with the beards??

We ended the night with our Christmas jammies. Brad decided he didn't want to put his on yet until we were back to the Richs. SCROOGE!! haha
