We bought Coop one of those little portable sand boxes a while ago. He loves playing in it. The other day he was playing and Brad and I were out watching him. He picked up his sand bucket, filled it with sand, opened his mouth wide and took a drink...of sand. His whole mouth was chuck full of sand. It was the funniest thing. He didn't even seem to mind too much. He spit a bit out and probably swallowed the rest. I have no idea why but he seems to like to eat sand. That's the only problem with the sandbox.
He is quite the entertainer. This age is so much fun!

Xander has the same cravings for sand and dirt. This is going to sound so mean, but it cured his cravings. I layed him down on the grass, turned the hose on, and blasted out his mouth. He hasn't eaten any dirt or sand since that abusive moment!
Such funny pictures. Emma loves to eat sand and dirt too. Her favorite thing when we are outside is to just chew on a big rock covered in dirt. Yummy!
Maybe having Coop in nursery will help Carter. No, probably not, I really doubt ANYTHING will help my clingy little boy. Oh well! Glad Cooper is going to like it! Carter loves the sand too. He could play in it all day, just give him a bucket and shovel and he is set!

Nursery...such a great blessing...especially when your child enters willingly! Congrats!
That's awesome that Cooper went to nursery...and by himself the first time!!! That is a HUGE accomplishment. It usually takes my kids a few months before I can leave them alone. That is a LOT of sand!!! I laughed so hard at those pictures, they're great!
He is growing up so fast!! I cannot believe that he ate sand yummy! I cannot wait to see you guys again! Give little Cooper a kiss for me.
I didn't realize what a blondie he is, very cute. I remember eating sand too, it leaves a gritty texture in your mouth for hours! It's great you got pictures of it all.
OH MY GOSH!! Coop is darling! He's getting to big. Quite the handsome young man. We need to see you guys. It's been way too long. I think the last time I saw you guys was at Jake and Brooke's wedding. . . that's been almost a year! Atleast we have blogs to keep us updated, right!?

That sand still gets me!! So funny! I think next week we need to get the kids together and play in the sprinklers and blow up my kiddie pool. What day would work for you?
That is so funny! I love this age too! They are so dang cute!! Kolman is not a fan of sand its so funny! He tip toes in it! It is like he is scared to get dirty or something! Coop is so fun! We need to get together soon!

Cooper is so cute! He's getting so big. They grow up way to fast. Easton is almost 4 months. It's been so fun having two. I was so scared to have two but I love it. So not fair you went to Hawaii! Looks like you guys had fun!
