Happy 4th!

This year we spent the 4th of July in Lewiston again. It's starting to become a tradition. We hit the parade and the festival and then decided to mix it up a bit and head to the Oneida Narrows to go tubing down the river. Some of Brad's family came and joined us and we had such a fun time! The weather was a little overcast and chilly but the water actually felt really good. We had a bit of a problem with finding good tubes to go down on, but everyone made it down okay. Todd had a tube that barely held him out of the water with the tube completely submerged. It was pretty funny to watch. Brad was exhausted after going down the first time because he basically had to hold Ryker up because his tube wasn't the greatest. He decided he was fine to go down again by himself. That night we headed uptown to watch the fireworks. To pass the time until they started we decided to throw the kids up in the air with our blankets. The pictures are so funny! The kids had a great time. This is my favorite place to watch fireworks because you are basically lying right underneath them when they are exploding and it looks like they are going to fall on you. After the fireworks we went back to my parents and lit our own. Cooper felt like he was so big because we let him light a few. It was a perfect ending to a long but fun day!
